My Training and Approach

There is no "Magic Pill" and one size does not fit all when it comes to health and wellness.

I graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition where I learned innovative coaching methods, practical lifestyle management techniques, and over 100 dietary theories – Ayurveda, gluten-free, Paleo, raw, vegan, macrobiotics, and everything in between. I learned from some of the world's top experts in health and wellness such as David Katz, MD, MPH, director of Yale University’s Prevention Research Center, Walter Willett, MD, DrPH, chair of nutrition at Harvard University, Andrew Weil, MD, director of the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine, Mark Hyman, MD, founder of The UltraWellness Center, Deepak Chopra, MD leader in the field of mind-body medicine and Joshua Rosenthal, MScEd, founder and director of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition just to name a few.

In addition, I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Lacrosse and practiced Physical Therapy for over 25 years.

I continue to further my health coaching and wellness education through Bastyr University, The Institute for Functional Medicine, Postural Restoration Institute, Therapeutic Yoga, and Autoimmune Paleo.

Truly though, it is my life experiences as a patient, wife and mom that will be most beneficial to you and your wellness journey.

My approach is pretty straight forward:

There is no magic pill, drink, exercise or cure. Getting healthy takes hard work! But  I promise it can be fun and oh so rewarding once you have the correct knowledge and tools.

It would be my privilege to walk beside you - guiding you, challenging you and showing you the way to health and vitality.
